Behavioral assessments
Evidence based assessments are used. The process involves the use of indirect information (e.g., rating scales, interviews, or a record review) and direct observation (e.g., actually observing what happens) to hypothesize the function of a behavior within the individuals environment by methodically assessing what occurs to occasion the behavior, and what occurs following the behavior. Examples of these assessments are noted below.

Domain and skills assessments
Assessment (e.g., VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS) are used to measure the learners acquisition of knowledge and skill sets against expected developmental milestones. The results of these assessments are helpful to systematically develop a program to increase a person's knowledge and skills to improve their ability to access the world around them. Parent training
Parent training is a component of implementing treatment programs. The purpose is to faciliate the exchange of instructional control from the BCBA or therapist as the primary implementers, to the caregiver. Among the many benefits of this process, the immediate purpose is to foster program maintence and generalization.

School based- Our team of Registered Behavior Technitians (RBT's) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst's (BCBA's) offer your school community individual or programatic support using a cost efficient approach. Ask us if a consultation approach is the right fit for your agency.
